Autodesk Construction Cloud

Autodesk Construction Cloud (the evolved, massive leviathan that absorbed PlanGrid, BIM 360, and BuildingConnected) is an incredibly aggressive, highly strategic titan. Autodesk realized they already mathematically owned the "Design" phase (because every architect on earth uses AutoCAD and Revit). They built ACC to create an unbroken, monolithic data pipeline from the first architectural sketch directly to the final brick laid on the job site. Its signature feature is "Native BIM (Building Information Modeling) Synergy." Procore can view a 3D model, but Autodesk ACC *owns* the 3D model. When the architect updates a massive Revit 3D model, it is instantly, natively available to the superintendent in the field via the ACC iPad app. The superintendent can mathematically slice through the 3D building, see the exact routing of the HVAC pipes, and detect clashes before they pour concrete. It heavily dominates "Preconstruction and Bidding" (via BuildingConnected). Before a shovel hits the dirt, a GC needs to solicit bids from 500 subcontractors. ACC manages this massive, terrifying data operation, allowing the GC to mathematically analyze and compare bids side-by-side, select the winners, and instantly convert those winning bids into the active construction budget, completely eliminating data siloes.
