CarePredict is radically different from traditional EHR software. While PointClickCare tracks what a nurse types into a computer, CarePredict tracks what the senior is actually doing physically in the real world. It relies entirely on a proprietary, specialized wearable device (the "Tempo" wristband) worn by the resident 24/7. The Tempo wristband uses advanced AI and machine learning to track the micro-behaviors of daily living. It doesn't just track steps; it knows if the resident is eating, sleeping, walking, or using the bathroom. If the AI notices that an 85-year-old resident is suddenly taking 20% longer to get out of bed in the morning, or is skipping lunch three days in a row, the software alerts the nursing staff that the resident is likely developing an infection or depression days before actual clinical symptoms appear. It also serves as an incredibly precise Real-Time Location System (RTLS). If a resident presses the call button on their wristband, the staff doesn't just know they need help; they know the resident is exactly in "Hallway B, near the courtyard." It also tracks staff efficiency, logging exactly how many minutes a nurse spent in a resident's room without the nurse needing to manually log the time.
