Cheqroom

Cheqroom operates in a similar space to EZOfficeInventory but focuses with absolute laser-precision on high-end, extremely expensive AV, broadcast, and broadcasting equipment. It is heavily utilized by massive media companies, corporate marketing departments, and major universities to manage the chaotic flow of cameras, drones, and lighting rigs. It focuses intensely on equipment "Kits." In film production, a camera is useless without batteries, a specific lens, and a tripod. Cheqroom allows an equipment manager to group 15 different physical items into a single digital "Red Camera Kit." When a producer reserves the Kit, the software ensures that all 15 items are available. When the Kit is returned, the software forces the warehouse worker to scan all 15 individual barcodes to verify nothing was left on set. The user interface is exceptionally clean and visually driven, which appeals heavily to creative teams. Users can upload high-resolution photos of the equipment, making it incredibly easy for a junior marketing assistant (who might not know the difference between a 50mm and an 85mm lens) to visually identify the correct piece of gear they need to check out for a photo shoot.
