CoConstruct is a deeply respected, incredibly powerful veteran of the Residential Construction software industry. (Note: It was acquired by its massive rival, Buildertrend, but continues to operate as a distinct, highly utilized platform). While Buildertrend focused heavily on the general contractor managing subcontractors, CoConstruct was explicitly, obsessively engineered around the "Custom Home Client Experience" and the nightmare of managing custom selections. Its absolute biggest differentiator is "The Selections Module." Building a custom home requires the client to make 500 decisions (What type of doorknob? What color grout? Which bathtub?). CoConstruct mathematically manages this chaos. The builder presents a catalog. The client clicks the $1,500 standalone bathtub. CoConstruct instantly calculates the price difference from the standard tub, automatically updates the project total, and generates the legal change order for signature. Because it targets high-end custom builders, its "Single-Entry Financials" are legendary. When the client approves that bathtub, the financial math ripples perfectly through the system.
