Fast React

Fast React (part of Coats Digital) is not a full financial ERP; rather, it is a highly specialized production planning and control software used by some of the largest garment factories on earth. While brands sitting in London or New York use software like BlueCherry to manage their business, the actual massive factories in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and China use Fast React to figure out how to physically sew the clothes. The software solves a massive logistical nightmare: capacity planning. A factory might have 5,000 sewing machines and orders from Nike, Zara, and H&M all due in the same month. Fast React provides a visual planning board that takes the complex "Standard Allowed Minutes" (SAM) of a garment and maps it against available machine capacity, operator skill levels, and fabric delivery dates. If a shipment of blue dye is delayed by three days at the port, the factory planner drags the blue t-shirt order later in the timeline. Fast React instantly recalculates the entire factory floor, highlighting which other orders will now be late and suggesting which sewing lines should be re-tasked to sew white shirts instead to avoid idle machine time. It is pure, highly advanced industrial engineering software.
