Halo Health (founded by actual practicing physicians) is a highly aggressive, fiercely clinical platform that recognized a massive flaw in standard messaging apps: they don't understand the physical geography and workflow of a hospital. Halo was explicitly engineered to completely replace archaic on-call spreadsheets and unify the entire health system onto an AWS cloud architecture. Its absolute biggest differentiator is "AWS Cloud Reliability." Historically, hospital communication systems were run on massive, clunky servers in the hospital's basement. If the basement flooded during a hurricane, the entire hospital's communication went dark. Halo was one of the first to build a terrifyingly robust, 100% AWS cloud-native architecture, guaranteeing that even if the hospital loses physical power, doctors can still securely text each other via cell towers.
