HandiFox

HandiFox operates in a very similar ecosystem to Fishbowl, acting as a massive, barcoded inventory upgrade for QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. However, while Fishbowl leans heavily toward complex manufacturing, HandiFox leans heavily toward "Route Delivery" and field sales operations. If a company sells energy drinks, they don't just keep them in a warehouse; they load them onto a massive fleet of delivery trucks that drive to 50 different gas stations a day. HandiFox treats every single physical truck as a mobile, barcoded warehouse. The driver uses a rugged Android scanner to scan a case of drinks as they physically carry it into the gas station. Because it targets drivers, its mobile application works completely offline. If a delivery driver is in a remote rural area with zero cell phone reception, they can still scan barcodes, generate invoices, and capture the gas station manager's signature on their tablet. Once the truck drives back into cell coverage, the software instantly syncs all the complex transactions directly back to the central QuickBooks server.
