Klevu

Klevu is a highly specialized platform that approaches e-commerce personalization fundamentally through the lens of search and product discovery. Recognizing that a massive percentage of an e-commerce store's revenue comes from users who actively utilize the search bar (because they have high purchase intent), Klevu replaces the basic, native search functionality of platforms like Shopify or Magento with an incredibly intelligent, AI-driven search engine. It ensures that when a user searches for a product, the results are not just textually relevant, but highly personalized to that specific user's intent. The absolute core of Klevu is its Natural Language Processing (NLP) engine. When a user types a complex query like "red waterproof running shoes size 10," Klevu instantly understands the difference between the color, the feature, the category, and the size. Furthermore, it learns from the behavior of the crowd. If thousands of users search for "sneakers" but consistently click on Nike shoes, Klevu will automatically begin boosting Nike products to the top of the search results for the term "sneakers." This self-learning capability drastically reduces the manual merchandising workload for e-commerce teams. Beyond search, Klevu extends its intelligence into Smart Category Merchandising and Smart Recommendations. It utilizes the massive intent data gathered from search queries to power highly personalized product recommendation carousels across the site. It also dynamically re-orders products on standard category pages (e.g., the "Women's Tops" page) based on real-time trending data and the specific user's past browsing history. By focusing heavily on the critical moment of product discovery, Klevu drives massive increases in conversion rates for catalog-heavy merchants.
