Logic Pro is Apple's flagship professional Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). It is famously known as the natural "step up" for anyone who learned how to make music on GarageBand and finally hit the limitations of that free software. It is absolutely dominant in the music production industry, specifically favored by songwriters, composers, and pop producers. Logic is renowned for having arguably the best "out-of-the-box" library of any DAW on the market. Without buying a single third-party plugin, a producer buying Logic gets a massive 70GB library of incredibly high-quality software instruments (synthesizers, realistic string orchestras, vintage drum machines) and studio-grade effects (compressors, reverbs).
