Glint (which was acquired by LinkedIn, and is now being massively integrated directly into the Microsoft ecosystem as "Microsoft Viva Glint") is an incredibly powerful, enterprise-grade employee engagement platform. Prior to its acquisition, Glint was highly respected for its incredibly beautiful, executive-friendly dashboards and its highly advanced natural language processing (NLP). Now, as part of Microsoft Viva, it represents a massive, highly strategic threat to standalone vendors, as it is being natively woven into the software (Microsoft Teams, Outlook) that hundreds of millions of employees already use every day. The historical strength of Glint is its incredible ability to analyze massive volumes of unstructured data. In a massive enterprise survey, thousands of employees might leave open-text comments.
