Navotar (which has recently undergone massive mergers and integrations with Rentall, but remains a legendary standalone brand name in the industry) was historically one of the most beloved, purely cloud-based tools for independent operators, famous for completely obliterating the need for expensive on-premise servers. Its signature feature was completely pioneering the "One-Screen Checkout." Before Navotar, an agent had to click through 7 different terrifying grey screens to rent a car. Navotar built a sleek, hyper-modern web interface where the driver's license data, the payment gateway, the vehicle assignment, and the insurance upsell all live on a single, highly visual dashboard, cutting checkout time in half. It also heavily prioritized "Damage Management." A massive source of lost revenue for rental companies is failing to prove a customer scratched a car. Navotar's mobile app allows the agent to take highly specific, timestamped photos of a dent, circle the dent with their finger on the iPad, and permanently attach that photo to the customer's digital contract, completely eliminating "he-said, she-said" arguments when the car is returned.
