Planning Center

Planning Center is the absolute, undisputed, modern powerhouse of the global Church Management Software (ChMS) industry. While legacy systems were terrifying, bloated monoliths, Planning Center was built as a highly modular, beautiful, Apple-esque ecosystem of individual apps. A church only pays for the specific modules they actually use. Its absolute biggest superpower, and the reason it originally exploded, is "Services." Managing a Sunday worship service is a logistical nightmare of volunteers. Planning Center completely digitized this. The Worship Pastor builds the setlist, attaches the MP3s and chord charts, and clicks a button. The software automatically emails 50 volunteers ("Can you play Bass guitar this Sunday?"). The volunteers click 'Accept' on their phone, completely automating the terrifying scheduling puzzle. It heavily dominates the "Check-Ins" space for children's ministry. A family walks into a massive megachurch, types their phone number into a massive iPad kiosk, and the kiosk instantly prints secure, matching barcode name tags for the children and the parents. If an emergency happens in the nursery, the system instantly texts the parent sitting in the main auditorium.
