PolyPM

PolyPM is unique because it started its life primarily as a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system and eventually expanded to encompass the entire ERP framework. Because its roots are in product development, it is highly favored by brands that do a massive amount of internal design, prototyping, and custom/made-to-measure manufacturing. The PLM capabilities are exceptionally deep. It handles complex grading rules (how a pattern scales up from a size Small to a size XXL) and integrates directly with CAD pattern-making software like Gerber or Lectra. A technical designer can adjust a CAD file, and PolyPM automatically updates the marker yield and fabric consumption calculations in the ERP, adjusting the projected cost of the garment. It is also widely used by manufacturers producing highly customized technical garments—such as military uniforms or specialized athletic gear. If a police department orders 500 uniforms with specific individual names embroidered on the chest and custom inseams, PolyPM can track that order down to the specific personalized garment, ensuring the right officer gets the right custom-fitted shirt.
