RentSyst approaches the car rental market from a highly aggressive, heavily hardware-integrated "IoT" (Internet of Things) perspective. A customer can book a car on their phone, walk up to the car in a massive parking lot at 2:00 AM, and the RentSyst software will securely ping the physical tracker inside the car to unlock the doors, completely bypassing the need for a human rental agent or a physical key handoff.
