Scalr

Scalr occupies a highly technical, incredibly fiercely fought niche. It does not try to be a pretty dashboard for the entire IT department. It explicitly targets the absolute most advanced, elite "DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)" teams who manage their entire massive cloud infrastructure entirely through raw code, specifically utilizing "Terraform" (Infrastructure as Code). Its signature feature is "Enterprise Terraform Governance." If 500 elite engineers are all writing Terraform code to instantly spin up thousands of AWS servers, the risk of a single typo bringing down the entire company is terrifying. Scalr acts as the massive, strict "State Management" and collaboration hub. It runs a "Dry Run" of the code, showing the engineer exactly what will be destroyed or created *before* they are allowed to execute it. It heavily dominates "Policy as Code (OPA)." The security team writes a mathematical policy: "No server can ever be created without encryption turned on." When a developer writes a Terraform script requesting an unencrypted server, Scalr's engine intercepts the code execution, mathematically analyzes the code against the security policy, and physically blocks the deployment, enforcing massive security at the speed of code.
